Henderson tweeted that each season of Battlefield 2042 would include a new specialist and two new maps,a second Portal maps,a story-driven Hazard Zone update as well as six to eight new weapons,and two to three vehicles. There will also be 100 season tiers. The company also followed up the tweet with an GIF of Adam Sandler telling us that the game is no cost.

While Henderson has been spot-on in the past,the amount of content that Battlefield 2042 is offering for no cost seems to be too good to be accurate. Similar shooters offer some features for free,and others require a fee to access additional content. Specialized characters and characters tend to be locked behind paywalls,while maps,guns,or vehicles are added to the updates for free. If this leak is realthere`s a significant amount of content. Battlefield 2042 already looks like one of the most attractive shooters coming out this year,and Dice could create an excellent player base through the kind of content that is seasonal in nature offering.

EA confirmed that Battlefield 2042`s open beta will start in September. A Redditor found information about the open beta on the Battlefield 2042 website before it was taken down. The open beta would begin on the 6th of September and last until September 11. EA Access subscribers as well as Origin subscribers,in addition to gamers who have already pre-orderedwill be able access to the beta open beginning on September 6. The game can also be preloaded beta as early as September 3,as per the details.

Battlefield 2042`s Portal mode will give players to design any game mode they want. It will include maps from Bad Company 2 and Ripple Effect General Manager Christian Grass said that the Portal mode will let players to create their own game modes.
