Tiger Desktop Wallpaper Pictures
These tiger pictures are female Bengal Tigers (aka Indian Tigers). The white one is not an albino - the white is a variation on the orange color.
Tiger Facts: Tigers are the largest members of the cat family, ranging in size from 7 to 9 feet long (including the tail), and weigh 240-500 pounds. A tiger's roar can be heard for up to two miles (three kilometers) away. Tigers are on the endangered species list. As recently as the 20th Century three of the eight subspecies of tigers became extinct. Their numbers have been reduced from the hundreds of thousands to approximately 2,500 due to hunting and poaching for trophies and Chinese medicine.
